ON DEMAND BIM AND VDC SUPPORT

CONTENT CREATION: SOUND ENGINEERING

Read | Thomas partnered with Wave Engineering to develop Revit content for a large auditorium environment, supporting acoustic and visual performance analysis. The scope included parametric modeling of audio-visual equipment, acoustic baffles, and lighting systems.

Each component was built to align with analysis requirements and project standards, ensuring accurate representation within the model. The resulting content enhanced simulation workflows, improved coordination, and contributed to more precise design outcomes.

PROJECT SUPPORT: STRUCTURAL REVIT MODELING

Read | Thomas delivered structural BIM modeling support for the Tryon International Equestrian Center, a world-class equestrian venue in North Carolina. Our team created a fully detailed Revit model of the steel and concrete structure, helping align teams and streamline coordination from design through documentation.

With large spans, complex layouts, and multiple disciplines working in parallel, precision was critical. The model provided a clear, coordinated foundation that reduced friction, improved collaboration, and supported a smoother path to construction.

CONTENT CREATION: LIGHTING CONTENT

Read | Thomas supported the development of a standardized MEP Revit content library focused on lighting fixtures, enabling consistency across multiple projects. The scope included parametric modeling of various fixture types, including pendant, linear, wall-mounted, track, and exit lighting systems.

All families were built as non-hosted, fully parametric components aligned with manufacturer specifications and configured with shared parameters for scheduling and coordination. The resulting library improved data consistency, streamlined documentation workflows, and enhanced overall model reliability.
