FOR MANUFACTURERS

ON DEMAND REVIT CONTENT CREATION

CONTENT CREATION: PANELING

Read | Thomas was selected by US MgO to develop custom Revit content for their line of magnesium oxide subfloor and sheathing panel products, designed for use in commercial and multifamily construction. The scope required creating accurate, manufacturer-specific Revit families that could be easily adopted by design teams and integrated into real project workflows across a variety of building types.

Our team produced a comprehensive set of parametric Revit families and system assemblies representing US MgO's panel products in both floor and wall applications. The resulting content gives architects and contractors a reliable, spec-ready BIM resource that accurately represents the product in the model, supporting better documentation, coordination, and specification accuracy from design through construction.

CONTENT CREATION: MATERIALIZATION

Read | Thomas partnered with Inpro Corporation to develop materialization content for their Ricochet flooring product line, producing a clean, organized visual display system showcasing the full range of colorways and finish options across multiple product collections. Working within a modeled interior environment, we created a structured presentation that allows design professionals and end users to evaluate materials side by side — translating Inpro's product catalog into a clear, compelling visual format for use in sales, marketing, and specification workflows.

CONTENT CREATION: FAMILIES

Read | Thomas was selected by Robroy Industries to develop an extensive library of over 400 individual and assembled Revit families representing their full catalog of industrial enclosure and conduit fitting products. The scope demanded a high level of accuracy and consistency across a large volume of content, requiring a systematic approach to family creation, naming conventions, and parameter configuration.

Our team delivered the complete family library built to manufacturer specifications, with each component modeled to support accurate placement, scheduling, and coordination within Revit projects. The resulting content gives engineers and designers a robust, ready-to-use BIM resource that reflects Robroy's product line with precision, helping project teams specify and coordinate the right components from early design through construction documentation.

CONTENT CREATION: FAMILIES

Read | Thomas developed a showcase mock-up building to demonstrate the breadth and quality of custom Revit content our team is capable of producing. The model brings together a wide range of architectural, structural, and site families — from curtain wall systems and rooftop equipment to street furniture, vehicles, and landscaping — all created in-house to illustrate real-world content creation capabilities.

The mock-up serves as a living portfolio of Read | Thomas's content creation work, giving clients and partners a tangible reference for the level of detail, parametric flexibility, and visual quality our families deliver. Whether supporting a specific product manufacturer or building out a firm's internal Revit library, our team brings the same rigor and craftsmanship to every component we create.

CONTENT CREATION: GROCERY

Read | Thomas was engaged to develop a comprehensive library of custom Revit families representing grocery store fixtures, equipment, and merchandising displays. The scope included a wide variety of content — from produce bins and gondola shelving to refrigerated cases and checkout equipment — each modeled with the visual detail and parametric flexibility needed to support realistic retail space planning and design documentation.

Our team produced the full family library and assembled a representative store environment to showcase the content in context. The resulting assets give retail designers and store planners a ready-to-use BIM toolkit that accurately reflects real fixture types, enabling more informed layout decisions, better client presentations, and a more efficient path from concept through construction documentation.
